Your state Senator Josh Kimbrell just voted for a big-spending, illegal state budget.
Yesterday, Josh Kimbrell joined his liberal leadership in the Senate and broke the budget transparency law (SC Code: 11-11-90).
Instead, they met in secret and voted to accept BILLION$ in federal funding with mandates from the Biden/Harris administration.
Your state senator Josh Kimbrell may talk a big game about pushing back against DC, but by voting for the illegal state budget and the federal mandates that go along with it, he sold you out to unelected bureaucrats in Washington.
By voting for the illegal state budget – and accepting federal mandates - your state Senator Josh Kimbrell is forcing our kids to be taught Common Core curriculum in our state public schools.
It’s also the reason many of our state roads are still crumbling, but others get fixed over and over again.
It’s the reason why we are forced to subsidize Planned Parenthood – the largest abortion provider in the nation.
Federal mandates inside the state budget are the easiest, quickest and sneakiest way legislators can implement dangerous mask and vaccine mandates, as well as gun control.
Bottom line: when your state senator Josh Kimbrell voted for the state budget – and the federal grants in the state budget – he sold you out to unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C.
He gave away your independence.
That is why it is so important to force him to follow the state budget transparency law.
When they are forced to hold joint open hearings in public, you have a chance to stop the federal mandates BEFORE they vote for them.
Your state Sen. Josh Kimbrell needs to hear from you right now.
Call and/or text him directly: “Why did you vote for an illegal state budget? Why didn’t you force your liberal leadership to follow the law?”
Tell him that voting for an illegal state budget with federal mandates from DC is not conservative.
