Your State Rep. Neal Collins Wants In-State College Tuition and Scholarships for Illegal Immigrants

Over the last decade, tuition has skyrocketed at our colleges and universities, making it harder for middle class South Carolinians to graduate.

Your state Rep. Neal Collins introduced a bill last session to make illegal immigrants – who Barack Obama called “DREAMers” – eligible to get in-state tuition and lottery scholarships.

That's right - Neal Collins hasn't restored your gun rights or fixed your roads, but he has lobbied hard to give illegal immigrants a cheaper way to pay for college.

A few years ago, Neal said he "cannot be quiet" about this issue any longer.

Neal also said “people are looking for solutions”.

Is giving in-state college tuition and state lottery scholarships to illegal immigrants the “solution” you had in mind?

If not, your state representative Neal Collins needs to hear from you.

A very similar bill has been introduced this year in the state Senate (S.24).

Call and tell Neal to vote against any bill that includes giving illegal immigrants in-state college tuition and state lottery scholarships.

Here's his phone number: 864-350-4175

NO! Vote against any bill that includes giving illegal immigrants in-state college tuition and state lottery scholarships. People born here have to pay, everyone else can pay their own way. This goes for anyone getting privileges that can’t be shared by all, born here or not. Equal treatment should be for everyone.

No! I had to pay my way thru college and I am a legal citizen. My granddaughters will ha e to pay their own way. Why should someone who is illegal here get a free college education from taxes I pay?
